Rockwell Collins was a multinational corporation company headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa providing avionics and information technology systems and services to government agencies and aircraft manufacturers. It was formed when the Collins Radio Company, facing financial difficulties, was purchased by Rockwell International in 1973. In 2001, the avionics division of Rockwell International was spun off to form the current Rockwell Collins, Inc., retaining its name.

The company was acquired by United Technologies Corporation on November 27, 2018, and now operates as part of Collins Aerospace.

In December 2019, CNBC listed Rockwell Collins along with 378 additional Fortune 500 companies that "paid an effective federal tax rate of 0% or less" as a result of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.

US approves United Tech purchase of Rockwell Collins. United Technologies Corp has won U.S. approval to buy avionics maker Rockwell Collins Inc, as long as it makes certain divestments. The $23 billion acquisition would be the largest in aerospace history.1 oct. 2018

People that work there wont train you because they scared of losing their job. Dont waste your time ."

"overall, this company is poorly ran with management well into a declining state. they are unwilling to evaluate themselves in a honest way and continue to provoke and diminish the value of the newer and current floor employees, especially contractors.do not look to advance, most of the current employees have 10-15+ and are in it for the long haul, any employees that had the skills/opportunity to advance took it with another company. with so many employees with 10-15 year history the employees have personality issues and clashes that spill over into their work and make the work environment unwelcoming and hostel. there is one female employee in particular that is abrasive, rude, and unwilling to work with others in a constructive manor, making the work day seem tireless. management above this facility needs to review the overall operations and logistics department and clean house. they have a very standard production operation that is simple and they build, for the most part, the same equipment multiple times. this low level operation should not have this many problems.holiday shut downno advancement, poor management, culture issues, personal vendettas, high turnover of contractors, no management support. no accountability."

Constant undermining of good work relations, waging management against union workers. Terrible. Seems the only thing this company promoted is infidelity. "

"I have been contemplating the vast list of USglobalmail problem areas below to determine how to rank them in order of unacceptability. In fact, they are ALL unacceptable and should not be tolerated in any organization. However, I did attempt to rank them in REVERSE order of significance/unacceptability/problem magnitude: 1. Lack of training, understanding, knowledge of your agents (although the business is not complicated, your agents have zero understanding of how the system works, how to resolve problems, communicate with customers, and process documents).2. Unacceptable delays in communication. 3. Total failure to fulfill shipment requests in a timely manner 4. Unacceptable/ungodly/unbelievable high prices for shipments - international5. Unacceptable/ungodly/unbelievable high prices for shipments - domestic 6. Complete breakdown in the system of receiving mail from the USPS in postal code 77080. Delays in mail for days, sometimes weeks. Blaming the post office for your service failures. Unacceptable and bizarre .7. Losing customer mail - its the heartbeat of what you are supposed to do - completely unacceptable And then the final two complete/unacceptable and irresponsible failures. Not sure which is worse, because they both are so serious and unacceptable that you should be closed: 1 aaaaaa. Sending customer mail to THE WRONG RECIPIENT - doesn't need further explanation, should be closed from such atrocities1 aaaaaa. Breaching your fiduciary duty to your customers. No customer should be able to trust that you have their interests at heart. No one should trust you with their mail needs. repeat: no one, nobody, zero individuals, zero customers. Oh, they steal"

"I have been a customer for three years. Although during this time there were a few glitches, but the company, once notified were right on top of the problem. I gave them rave reviews as I see others have. I don't know lately what has happened to the company but I was not receiving notifications when mail was received and out of nowhere, with no prior communication, was notified my account was suspended for non payment? I have had the same bank account since signing up with them. I was blown away and upset because they have my mail with my 1099 sitting in my account. This is a terrible way to do business when I have always paid and the money and my bank states that it is on their end. My bank did NOT block them as I have been billed for years. Now I have to search for a new company but wanted to warn others that this company has gone down hill quickly. Sorry to say that because I had been a very satisfied customer."
